Summary
The aim of the micro-symposium on ‘teaching and scientific mediation’ is to discuss the transmission of knowledge in crystallography, both to an informed audience and to a wider range of audiences. To this end, this year’s micro-symposium will adopt a hybrid and dynamic format, combining guest lectures and workshops: the workshops will be introduced during flash presentations and then developed in a dedicated space. This innovative organisation will encourage discussion and enable the sharing of experiences on concrete achievements.
The workshops may offer activities focused on the teaching of crystallography, as practised today in university or professional training, as well as outreach activities aimed at making this still little-known but essential discipline accessible to all audiences in many fields.
