The community of crystallographers in Lille is delighted to welcome you to Villeneuve d’Ascq from Tuesday, June 30 to Friday, July 3, 2026, for the French Crystallography Association (AFC) Conference.

The AFC 2026 conference will feature sessions aligned with the AFC’s thematic groups — biology, chemistry, physics — as well as cross-disciplinary topics such as crystal growth, education and outreach, large-scale facilities, and emerging techniques. The program will include plenary lectures, poster sessions, interactions with sponsors, and networking opportunities throughout the event.

This conference will also be the occasion to present the third “André Guinier” Prize, PhD thesis awards, and to hold the AFC General Assembly.

The public lecture will be given by Patrick Cordier and will take place on Wednesday 1 July 2026 in the auditorium of the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille, located at 18bis Rue de Valmy.
