Getting to the LILLIAD Conference Center – Villeneuve d’Ascq
The LILLIAD Innovation Learning Center is located on the Cité Scientifique campus of the University of Lille, in Villeneuve d’Ascq, within the Lille metropolitan area. It is easily accessible by public transport, car, or from the train stations in Lille.

By public transport (from Lille):
- From Lille Flandres or Lille Europe train stations:
- Take Metro Line 1 (yellow line) towards “4 Cantons – Stade Pierre-Mauroy”
- Get off at “Cité Scientifique – Professeur Gabillard”
- LILLIAD is a 5-minute walk from the metro station.
Tip: The Lille metro is automated and runs frequently, with a train every 1–2 minutes during the day.
By car:
- From Lille: follow signs for Villeneuve d’Ascq / Cité Scientifique
- Access via highways A1, A25, or A22, depending on your point of arrival.
- LILLIAD is well signposted on the university campus.
- Free parking spaces are available near the building.
Recommended parking: Parking P3 (Cité Scientifique)
From Lille train stations:
- Lille Flandres and Lille Europe stations are connected to the metro network.
- It takes about 20 to 25 minutes to reach LILLIAD by metro.
From Lille-Lesquin Airport:
- About 15 to 20 minutes by taxi or car.
- You can also take a shuttle to Lille city center and then Metro Line 1.
