Building on the success of previous editions, which attracted around 200 participants and 20 exhibitors, the organisers of the French Crystallography Association (AFC) conference are delighted to invite scientific instrument suppliers to take part in the 2026 edition, which will be held in Lille from 30 June to 3 July.
The Lilliad conference centre, located on the campus of the University of Lille in Villeneuve d’Ascq (lilliad.univ-lille.fr), will host the event. This modern 1,200 m² space includes:
- 2 auditoriums (292 and 110 seats)
- 2 conference rooms (70 and 75 m²)
- 1 440 m² event hall
To encourage interaction between exhibitors and participants, the stands, poster sessions and coffee breaks will be grouped together in the central hall and the two adjoining rooms (see map below).
A highlight of conviviality is also planned for Tuesday 30 June, with a ‘Welcome party’ in the same space.
The AFC conference is a key event for the crystallography community, bringing together physicists, chemists, biologists and mineralogists to discuss the latest advances in diffraction, scattering, imaging, tomography, spectroscopy, fluorescence and instrument development. These techniques are applied to a wide variety of disciplines such as materials science, solid state chemistry and physics, metallurgy, geosciences, and many others.

Bronze sponsorship includes the presence of your logo on the AFC2026 website, which can be linked to a specific page of your choice or your company’s website, the book of abstracts and the conference flyers.
Silver sponsorship (€1,100 excl. VAT)
Silver sponsorship includes bronze sponsorship, a 4 m² stand (2 m x 2 m), registration for one person at the conference (conference documents, coffee breaks, lunches, welcome party), but does not include the gala dinner.
Gold sponsorship (€1,600 excl. VAT)
Gold sponsorship includes bronze sponsorship, a 6 m² stand (3 m x 2 m), registration for one person at the conference (conference documents, coffee breaks, lunches, welcome party) and the gala dinner.
Diamond sponsorship (€2,350 excl. VAT)
Diamond sponsorship includes bronze sponsorship, an 8 m² stand (4 m x 2 m), registration for one person at the conference (conference documents, coffee breaks, lunches, welcome party), the gala dinner and a page in the abstract book.
Stands will be distributed in the order in which registration forms are received. Stands will be allocated once all registrations have been collected.
All stands are equipped with:
- at least one table (1.40m x 0.70m) and two chairs,
- a power strip with 4 sockets to power computer equipment,
- a Wi-Fi connection.
Presentation equipment must be installed on Monday, 29 June 2026 and removed on Friday, 3 July 2026 in the afternoon.

- Registration for the day: €100 per person (excluding VAT). This includes coffee breaks, lunch and the welcome party, but does not include the official dinner.
